Sindhura is one of the first mangoes of the mango season in India. Starting at Muthalamada, Kerala, followed by Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra, this mango is known for its red-green outer skin and juicy sweetness with a distinct, strong flavour. It is also called Lal Bagh in Maharashtra.

In this selection, the mangoes may show spots, patches, or softer skin due to advanced ripening - but that’s exactly what makes them incredibly sweet, juicy, and flavourful.

Sindhura's flavour evolves with its ripening stage - slightly firm, it is sweet with a mild tang; fully ripened, it turns intensely sweet with a bold flavour and no tang. Cut it open, and you’ll find juicy pulp with a pleasant floral fragrance.

Please Note - The mangoes that you would receive may be slightly pressed, which is completely natural in ripe mangoes, and would taste just excellent from inside.
